TECHNICAL TRAINING HELD AT THE HUAWEI OFFICE IN GHANA FOR CSA AND JOINT CYBERSECURITY COMMITTEE INSTITUTIONS

The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) as part of activities marking the 2022 Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM), in partnership with Huawei Technologies in Ghana has organised a technical training for forty (40) participants selected from the CSA and the Joint Cybersecurity Committee Institutions.

The training which centred on International Cybersecurity Standards, Cybersecurity Threat intelligence Gathering, and Cybersecurity incident response standards and frameworks, sought to equip participants with skills and knowledge related to their work. Participants were taken through five widely used international cyber security standards i.e the ISO/IEC 27001, Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme (NESAS SCAS), NIST SP800-61-2 Computer Security Incident Handling guide, Gartner Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan (CIRP) and the NCSC (UK) Cyber Incident Response Guidance (CIRG).
